JQA NEWS

July 2009
JQA has started fundraising for the development of a new, fully accessible pavilion for Old Sharlston Cricket Club that will also host Blind Cricket events.

May 2009
Cottingley Cornerstone Centre has asked JQA to consult with the community to investigate the needs for older people's well-being in Cottingley. The consultation will lead to the development of a business plan for Bradford Council to support provision at Cornerstone of the services and activities requested.

March 2009
JQA has secured a Heritage Lottery Fund grant of nearly £50,000 for St Andrew's Church, Kildwick. This will be used to develop a heritage area in the church and a programme of heritage events to highlight the history of the Lang Kirk, which dates back to Saxon times.

The Old Mill Centre near Richmond, North Yorkshire, is planning to develop creative and performing arts facilities as part of its residential retreat centre. JQA is carrying out a feasibility study to test the demand for such facilities.

February 2009
St Andrew's Church
in Gargrave, North Yorkshire, has commissioned JQA to research the need for community facilities in the village, and to advise on how the church could help to meet those needs.
