Piers Jackson Director
Following his graduation from York University, Piers pursued his interest in music by joining a band in Northern Ireland and touring with it to Canada and the United States. He wrote award-winning songs and taught flute and piano before moving into journalism - first radio and then print. This experience provided an invaluable background to his work as a freelance media manager and advisor, prior to setting up the company in 1995. Piers now manages the consultation processes which are at the heart of much of the work undertaken by JQA. He has developed specific expertise in project assessment and works closely with local authorities on the viability of projects still at the ideas stage. He also edits the company's reports and business plans. Piers is Deputy Chair of Governors at Leeds College of Music
